  • Who are Lomond Golf Tours?Lomond Golf Tours Scotland is an executive Golf Tour Company that offers unique experiences tailored to our client’s wishes and expectations.
  • Where did the idea come from?Golf has played a huge part in my life and my nature is to support and assist those I can. After helping close friends from Texas visit Scotland and enjoying their company over dinner, they asked why I wasn’t doing this as a business………the penny eventually dropped and the rest is history.
  • Where abouts are you based and how many is in the team? Our head office is in Glasgow and we also have an office in St Andrews. Its predominantly myself along with the help of an incredible support network of family, friends, and fellow PGA Professionals, I am extremely fortunate to have such support.
  • You offer mixed services?Yes, we offer a variety of services which supports our clients’ needs and expectations as its not just golf, some of these include fine dining, private accommodation, play with the pro, exclusive whisky experiences and much more.
  • What about your Featured Tours Offering? Each of these tours relate to my own experiences in golf and have their own character, the Highland Gathering is my personal favourite and the one which means the most is Murray’s Signature Tour in remembrance of my close friend Murray Sharp.
  • What is the average trip look like?Well, we pride ourselves on delivering unique experiences and each tour is tailored to our clients wishes which makes them so different. Majority run for 7 -10 days with 5-8 rounds of golf, we would look to cover at least 3 different golfing regions across Scotland and include a mix of golf, culture, and good life. The average cost per person based on a group of 4 golfers for 7 days would be circa $5k – $6K per person.

If I was to pick three golfing greats it would be Ernie Els who was my ideal when growing up, Jack Nicholas for all he achieved, and Seve Ballesteros and watching a magician at work.
  • Scotland is known for its whisky, what do you like?I must admit I do like a Balvenie is my preference but not shy of giving others try, I am Scottish!!
  • You must have a favourite Course? – I would love to say just one, but that would be wrong of me. Where do I start – Royal Dornoch, Ailsa Turnberry, Dunbar, Nairn, Luffness, Oakmont, Cypress Point, LACC, Real Club Valderrama, Royal Birkdale and Loch Lomond.
